Privacy Policy — Billing Case

This Privacy Policy describes how Billing Case (“the App”, “we”, “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application. The App is operated by Juliia Aleikseienko (“the developer”).

Summary

Billing Case is a subscription tracker that stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no servers we control, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

Your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers
Your subscription data (names, prices, billing dates, categories)
Photos you upload as subscription logos
Your device location
Your IP address
Usage analytics or crash reports beyond what Apple provides by default

Information Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored exclusively on your device using the operating system’s secure local storage (AsyncStorage / @billingcase_subscriptions):

Subscription names, prices, currencies, billing cycles, and categories you enter
Custom logos you select from your photo library
Local notification schedules

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to our servers because we do not operate any servers. It may be included in your device’s iCloud Backup if you have that feature enabled, but that backup is governed by Apple’s privacy policy, not ours.

Permissions We Request

The App requests the following permissions:

Notifications — to remind you 7, 3, 1, and 0 days before a subscription is charged. All notifications are scheduled and delivered locally by your device. We do not use push notifications.
Photo Library — to allow you to select an image as a custom logo for a subscription. Selected images are stored only on your device.

You may revoke these permissions at any time in your device’s Settings.

Third-Party Services

The App fetches publicly available brand logos from Clearbit Logo API (logo.clearbit.com) when you add a subscription that matches a known brand. These requests contain only the brand domain (e.g., netflix.com) — no personal information about you is sent. Clearbit’s privacy policy: https://clearbit.com/privacy-policy

We do not use any analytics SDK (Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.), advertising network, or crash reporting service.

Children’s Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, data protection laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) grant you specific rights regarding personal data — including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and the right to opt out of its sale.

Because we do not collect, store, or process any personal data on our servers — there is no data on our side to access, correct, delete, port, or sell. All information you enter into the App lives exclusively on your device and is fully under your control. You can review or delete it at any time through the App’s interface, or by uninstalling the App.

We do not sell or share personal information with anyone, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

To delete an individual subscription: open it and tap Delete
To delete all data: uninstall the App. iOS removes all associated local storage automatically.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
